Yinglun Zhang is a fashion designer, a dancer, and a multidisciplinary artist.

She graduated with honor from Parsons School of Design in 2022. She dedicates to seeking the unification of curious rituals and choreographic movements. Inspired by organic living forms, her works focus on expressing the vitality of the body and the mind, while capturing the serenity of garments moving in a continuum of physical expression. Coming from an Eastern background, her works are also deeply inspired by its philosophy.

As a fashion designer and a dancer, working closely with the body, Yinglun explores the emergence of fashion and immersive performance - the mind and body as one. Her design system consists of three aspects - the essence, the movement, and the performance of clothing. The essence is the body, and the garment flows with the body, which creates movements. The movements become the performance, exploring improvisation, consciousness, and the philosophy of presence - the emergence of fashion and immersive performance - the mind and body as one.

Yinglun was selected by CFDA as a 2022 Fashion Future Graduate Showcase nominee. Her works have also showcased on Joe’s Blackbook, and Not just A Label, etc.
